 The general concept of the Low-Cost Inclinometer (LCI) is essentially the same as for the [[en:monitoring_and_warning:sprobes|SMN]], except that there are multiple inclination sensors attached. The inclination sensors are each 1 m apart and in total up to 4 sensors can be attached, resulting in an overall length of up to 5 m. The concept, including the wiring in the borehole/casing, is explained in the figure below.
